Kean

If you're reading this, you probably have one of my business cards. Most likely, I was talking about the SCA - if it was something else, skip farther down the page.

The SCA is the Society for Creative Anachronism, a worldwide medieval recreation group. It can be as casual or serious as you want it to be, and there are all kinds of things to do.
The main Society webpage is http://www.sca.org - but presuming you found me somewhere near home, you might find http://www.westkingdom.org/ more useful, especially the calendar part.
The SCA can be overwhelmingly confusing at first - sorry about that. In addition to the funny clothes and the actual history, we have 47 years of tradition and customs that frequently don't make much sense. Most people are patient with newcomers, and pretty much everyone likes being asked questions, because it's fun to share what you know with an interested audience.

I pay for my SCA habit by hacking websites (legally). https://www.whitehatsec.com has more info on that. We're hiring entry-level hackers - no experience necessary, train on the job.

My other main hobby is watching movies. I write reviews for them at http://whitefoxmoviereviews.com

On Mondays, I dance at the Starry Plough in Berkeley. Irish dancing is fun! Newcomers welcome!

I also play a lot of board games, read (and occasionally write) sci-fi and fantasy books, and sometimes play computer games.
